Presentation

Re-Thinking Europe is an interuniversity network composed by young researchers from different academic disciplines and European universities. Created in 2011 this network aims principally at:

  • offering to young researchers a space for open and free discussion about the main problems concerning the current European Crisis;
  • promoting innovative ways of approaching the topics of current discussions on Europe in the fields of the humanities and social sciences;
  • making visible topics and problems ignored or still unexplored in current debates on the European question;
  • critically re-visiting the conceptual legacy of Europe;
  • fostering interdisciplinary working within the humanities and the social sciences;
  • being a means for disseminating innovative research on Europe.

In order to accomplish these main goals Re-Thinking Europe organises every year an international workshop related to a specific problem and edits an open access book series.
